Come Back From San Francisco

I arrived in San Francisco in May 2000, just as the dot-com bubble was about to burst (or technically already had.) I missed cashing in on the windfall, but sometimes the slide downhill is more fun than being at the top. Paul Graham explains what the bubble got right.

Incidentally, two years ago today I handed over the keys to my Burlingame apartment and drove back to my life in Toronto.

And the company I worked for? Somehow it manages to keep finding new life. I guess some lessons are never learned.
