My trusty Canon Digital Rebel has been in the shop for the last few weeks. The lens release button popped off while on vacation out west. Not only did they repair the button, but they also did an AE1 and AF2 adjustment, cleaned the sensor, mirror and the rest of the body. It looks brand new.
The AF adjustment was an especially nice surprise. Under normal conditions it never bothered me much, but when dealing with very narrow focus it always let me down. I was never able to focus as accurately as in the above photo.
Bravo Canon. And all under warranty too, thanks to Henry’s extended warranty3.
