Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was a fabulous movie.
Based on the previews I’d seen, I wasn’t expecting to like it, but the excellent reviews it’s received convinced me to give it a try. I’m glad I did. It’s quirky enough to make it interesting, but doesn’t venture into the bizarre (not that I mind that either—I loved “Being John Malkovich”.)
What was bizarre (and perhaps the reason we liked it so much), was how often Catherine and I looked at each other knowingly, thinking, “That’s us!”
